Jessica Alba follows apology with donation after defacing charity's billboard
Jessica Alba has made a donation to the United Way in Oklahoma City, where she ran into trouble for attaching a poster to one of the charity's billboards.
The United Way of Central Oklahoma announced Alba's donation Thursday. Spokeswoman Erin Brewer says Alba's attorney has asked the charity not to disclose the amount, but that Alba qualified for a Leadership Giving program that recognizes donors who give $500 or more.
"I can tell you it was generous and we felt it was very appropriate," Brewer said.
The 28-year-old actress had been in Oklahoma City filming the movie "The Killer Inside Me" with co-stars Casey Affleck and Kate Hudson.
She has previously apologized for putting up posters about the declining great white shark population on utility boxes and a downtown bridge. Police have said she will not face criminal charges.

Jessica Alba could be in hot water.
The actress was caught on camera pasting posters of Great White sharks on a bridge and other Oklahoma City property -- and police are investigating, the AP reports. The posters' advertise the species' declining numbers.
"I got involved in something I should have had no part of," Alba said in a statement. "I realize that I should have used better judgment, and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident."
Alba is currently in Oklahoma City filming The Killer Inside Me with Kate Hudson and Casey Affleck.
Oklahoma City spokeswoman Kristy Yager estimates the damage between $500 and $700 -- not enough to earn Alba jail time if she were to be charged or convicted of a crime.
For years celebrities have had a love/hate relationship with the paparazzi, but for Jessica Alba, the relationship always seems to lean more towards the hate side of things.
In the March issue of Elle magazine, the actress talks about what it's like to be tailed by handfuls of paps on a regular basis.
"It's so invasive," she says, breakingnews.ie reported. "It's not like they're standing 100 feet away. They're in your face, not letting you walk, standing in the way when you're driving. It becomes a situation and it doesn't need to be."

And now the Hollywood actress has enlisted the help of 19-year-old Hayden Panettiere for a satirical clip that has been posted on YouTube. The actresses are seen hosting a mock home-shopping show selling The Muzzler 2008, a similar device to that worn by Alba in the last campaign. Panettiere is seen modeling a pink version, spelling out to youngsters the need not to let their political voices be silenced.

“I really don’t see the point in not registering to vote,” said Alba. “We sign up for MySpace pages and Facebook pages, and download music off the internet. The least people can do is register to vote online, actually making a difference in their world, not just making their lives a little bit cooler. It makes more sense to spend your time making a change in society—and it actually doesn’t take that much time! It takes more time to make a music playlist than it does to register to vote. “

Don't add baby Honor to the long list of child actors--yet. Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are banning their daughter from acting, at least until she's done with school.

Preparing for the birth of your first child can be nerve-wracking for any new mom, but for Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren, the birth of their daughter Honor Marie Warren on June 7 was anything but chaotic.
"I didn't scream," Jessica tells OK! in an exclusive interview and photoshoot. "It was really Zen." And Cash could only marvel at his wife's quiet strength when she gave birth. "She didn't make a sound," he says. "It was amazing."

The Love Guru star tells OK! that she had natural birth. "The labor was more like meditation," she says. "I did yoga breathing. I was focused."
OK! Magazine is really on a role this week. First they reportedly paid Mathew McConaughey $3 million dollars forpics of Levi McConaughey and now TMZ is reporting that Jessica Alba will be receiving $1.5 million smackeroos for pictures of little baby Honor from the magazine.
Jessica had originally declined all magazine offers but she must have given into temptation with OK! magazine when they offered $1.5. Why shouldn't she take it? That's the kids college fund. That's if the kid actually goes to college. We have hope for these celebrity kids

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren quietly married Monday with no other attendees at the wedding ceremony.
According to People, Jess, 27, and Cash, 31, were married in the Beverly Hills courthouse’s ceremony room under an arch of green silk foliage and white flowers. Jess wore a long blue dress and her hair back in a ponytail.
The couple, who are expecting a daughter in late May/early June, met in 2004 on the set of The Fantastic Four, on which Cash was a director’s assistant.
Jessica insists her pregnancy was no "accident" - because she and fiance Cash Warren failed to practice safe sex.
The star - who is expected to give birth to her first child next month (Jun08) - never predicted she would be pregnant at the age of 27, but she openly admits she wasn't being "careful" with contraception.
She tells America's Allure magazine, "I can't say it was a total accident. Because you're aware of when you're being careful and when you're not. It just happened so soon.
"I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they're having sex. I don't think sex is a big deal."

Actress Jessica Alba is the latest celebrity to be pregnant with twins, according to a report.
The 26-year-old and her fiancé Cash Warren announced that they were expecting their first baby last December but doctors have now discovered two heartbeats.
A friend told The National Enquirer: "Knowing that she's going to have twins has literally turned Jessica's life upside down. She and Cash have had to scrap their plans for a one-baby nursery and start all over again."
The source added that the couple were still deliberating whether to find out the sex of their babies in advance or wait until the birth, which is scheduled for June 8.

Hello everyone, don't get afraid now this here is our new design and concept of the fanpage. Right on time for the release of Jessicas movie "The Eye".
We have tryed to create a user-friendly fanpage with a simple navigation and look. It wasn't that easy because we needed more than 2 months to finished this page. Most of the time took the planing and all the experiments we did the last weeks but finally we are every happy with the results and we hope you guys like it.
We did a lot of changes and created new section like you see on the right side the "Coming Soon" section for latest releases of trailers and more. You can find as well under filmography a new section called "Trailer-Show" there you can watch trailers from different movies of Jessica anytime you want.
So if you guys find mistakes or errors please let us know because it could be that we forgot something... maybe ^^.
Anyway we hope this page is more clearly arranged for you and we hope our work we did is worth it all. If somebody of you have other ideas like suggestion let us know and post a comment.

Jessica Alba is pregnant with boyfriend Cash Warren's child, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
"I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer," says rep Brad Cafarelli.
Alba, 26, has dated Warren, 28, since the fall of 2004 after they met on the set of The Fantastic Four, on which Warren was a director's assistant.
The couple have been seen being affectionate together in Los Angeles in recent days, shopping for mattresses last Saturday and attending a Lakers game, where they were spotted kissing Sunday.
Alba has also starred in Sin City and the recent Awake. Her upcoming films are The Eye and The Love Guru.
Before the pregnancy announcement, she said she was in talks to make her Broadway premiere this summer in a revival of playwright David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow.

Speaking at the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival at the weekend (15/16Dec07), the actor referred to Alba's longtime boyfriend, and the father of his baby, Cash Warren as her fiance. When asked about Alba's baby news, Jones said, "Jessica and her fiance are wonderful, and they're going to make the most beautiful babies ever." Alba's representatives are refusing to confirm engagement reports, but the actress was spotted wearing what looked like an eternity band on her wedding finger at an event last week (ends14Dec07).
Jessica regrets accepting blockbuster movie roles and vows to dedicate her time to more "meaningful" film parts. The Fantastic Four star is fed up of competing for the best parts in Hollywood and is now only willing to work on smaller projects. She says, "I've definitely had to fight in the film industry and I'm going to change a lot of things in my career. I'm waiting to just do little movies with meaning to me with great directors. "That's going to be my driving force now. It's totally different."

Alba began dating Warren in 2005, when he was an assistant to director Tim Story on the set of "Fantastic Four."
The handsome production assistant turned producer and Alba were inseparable for two years until this weekend when, the magazine says, Alba broke up with Warren. On July 22, she reportedly called him and told him “I’m not in love with you anymore,” sources told the magazine.
Warren is said to be distraught. A source told US Weekly, the split “happened . . . almost out of nowhere,” they said. “He’s totally devastated.”

JESSICA ALBA has stunned her teen fans by appealing for more male nudity in women's magazines. The 26-year-old FANTASTIC FOUR actress is disgusted by the inequality between gender-targetted publications, and is leading a campaign for more explicit nudity for female readers.
She says, "Men's magazines have nipples, so why don't women have a magazine where men show their penises? "If there was a magazine like that I'd buy it. Nudity's not a big deal to me. I won't go naked in my films, because I don't want to. But that doesn't mean I don't want to see others."
Alba famously threatened to sue Playboy magazine when she appeared on the cover of the March 2006 issue among its 25 Sexiest Celebrities. She complained the publication had used her image (from a promotional shot for movie Into the Blue) without her consent, allegedly giving the appearance she was featured in the issue in a "nude pictorial".
However, she later dropped the lawsuit after receiving a personal apology from Playboy owner Hugh Hefner, who agreed to make donations to two charities that Alba supported.

Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba will be starring in a new horror movie produced by Tom Cruise.
The Eye will be a Hollywood remake of the 2002 Hong Kong film, Jian Gui, were Allison, to be played by Jessica, receives an eye transplant which allows her to see into the supernatural world.
The horror film, which will be filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, will be produced by Cruise/Wagner productions.
Sin City star Jessica has reportedly signed a $4 million deal with Tom's company which will make 2007 an even busier year for the actress. The star is currently working on a number of movies including the sequels Sin City 2 and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Her new thriller, Awake, which sees her star alongside Hayden Christensen will also be released this year.
Although it's still unknown if the first half of TomKat will be starring in the film alongside the Californian beauty, he has been known to take the lead roles in a number of his productions including the Mission Impossible series, War of the Worlds and Minority Report.

On this day, however, it looks like a giant, silvery carnival ride.
"Oops! I broke the car!" shrieked Jessica Alba (a.k.a. Sue Storm, a.k.a. Variety reports that Lionsgate has picked up the rights to "The Eye" from Paramount and is looking to get Jessica to star in the remake of the horror film.
Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner picked up the rights to the film in 2002 and Renee Zellweger was to have starred but when she dropped out, the studio decided to pass on the project.
The original Hong Kong horror film was directed by the Pang brothers and told of a blind woman who receives an eye transplant and finds that she has inherited the ability to see the dead.
Synopsis A young woman, blind since the age of two, receives an experimental corneal transplant that restores her vision. Along with it, however, come clairvoyant and extrasensory abilities she hadn't bargained for. When the stream of visions points to tragedy on a grand scale, she must decide: Take action or take her life, as did the original owner of the eyes.

Josh Stolberg wrote the script, and Mike Karz is producing. Shooting begins next month.
Jessica, who's currently filming the GreeneStreet Films comedy "Bill" opposite Aaron Eckhart, is poised for encores in sequels to Fantastic Four and Sin City.

What Alba is allowed to reveal about 2007's "F4" sequel, which begins filming soon, should nevertheless raise a few geeky eyebrows. "We're making the right changes," Alba said, responding to detractors of the first flick. "It's gonna be an amped-up version, this next one. I’ve always adored Belinda Carlisle. Jessica Alba is still fuming with Playboy publishers for ignoring her pleas to stay out of the men's magazine. Alba threatened legal action after Playboy bosses put her on the cover of the latest issue, claiming they implied she was naked inside.
And the one-time born again Christian insists the powers that be ignored her pleas not to appear on or in the magazine.
She explains, "They asked me to do it and I said no, and then they offered to pay and I said no and then they went behind my back and I just don't think it's right.
"It's not the mark that I want to make in this business."
Alba admits the first she knew about the Playboy cover was when she saw it beaming at her on a newspaper stand in Los Angeles.
She adds, "Then I got a call from my father."

Playboy says won't pull Jessica Alba issue
Playboy won't pull its March issue over actress Jessica Alba's claim that she was made an unwitting cover girl to fool readers into thinking she is nude inside, the magazine said on Friday.
"Playboy has done nothing wrong, so there is no reason to pull our issue off of newsstands," spokeswoman Lauren Melone said.
Alba accuses Playboy of violating her rights and misleading the public by getting a publicity photo from her 2005 movie "Into the Blue" from Sony Pictures and running it on the cover -- complete with a bunny logo superimposed on her bikini top.
Lawyers for Alba, 24, have threatened to sue Playboy unless the issue was pulled off the stands and demanded that the "Fantastic Four" star be compensated for damage to her image.
They also accuse Playboy of duping Sony Pictures into supplying a photo of the Golden Globe-nominated actress, wearing a multicolored bikini and sporting a belly ring, for the cover.
Playboy said Alba was placed on the cover after being chosen "sexiest star of the year" by its readers. She was included inside the magazine in an article on the top 25 sexiest celebrities as chosen in an online poll.
The magazine added that celebrities routinely grace its cover without appearing naked inside.

The Sin City actress said she would like parts that are similar to those offered to Natalie Portman.Jessica said: "The scripts I get are always for the whore, or the motorcycle chick in leather, or the horny maid.

Jessica also revealed that she has been propositioned by several directors while auditioning for roles.
She said: "Of course I've been asked.

Alba Wants to be Bond Girl Jessica Alba is appealing to James Bond filmmakers to cast her as the secret agent's love interest in the next movie-and fulfill her lifelong dream.
The stunning actress grew up with the espionage thrillers and was particularly intrigued by 007's famous female conquests.
She says, "I'm a huge fan of Bond-ever since I was little. I've looked at Bond women as being the most drop-dead gorgeous in the world.

Jessica and Sid shared a little retail therapy With his string of pearls and sparkly-handled lead Sid the pug was clearly every inch the perfect Tinseltown companion when he accompanied his mistress, Jessica Alba, on a retail expedition in LA.
Like many a male shopping companion, however, the patient pet's attention seemed to wander while the glamorous Fantastic Four star was checking out the goodies on the shelves. But then, his wardrobe may well already be full, since diamante collars were apparently just one of the gifts that Colin Farrell reportedly bombarded the pretty actress with in his attempts to woo her over the summer.
Sid's companion, Nancy, also a pug, was not on hand, although she was unlikely to be far from the actress' mind.
Indeed, Jessica has admitted that thoughts of her two four-legged friends can be a useful distraction – especially when she is faced with doing a love scene with a co-star she doesn't find attractive. "When you're making a movie with an actor, either it's someone you want to sleep with or you're thinking of someone you want to sleep with or you're thinking of your dog. I think of Sid and Nancy, my pugs."

JESSICA ALBA loved making FANTASTIC FOUR so much, she's come up with her own ideas for two sequels.
The actress is desperate to reprise her role as superheroine SUE STORM and wants to have super-children with castmate IOAN GRUFFUDD's character REED RICHARDS in a later installment.
She has even been reading the comic books the movie is based on - and picking our her favourite Fantastic Four accessories.
She says "I think we have to get the Fantasticar - that'd be cool. And I think we need some kids, at least by the third one. Sue and Reed should get busy."
